DIRECTION I: Welcome everyone as family, giving them a sense of belonging in our community.
Outcome1. Each parish will design and implement a multicultural strategic plan within one year for welcoming new and inactive parishioners, which will include follow up.
DIRECTION II: Develop a spirit of evangelization in our Diocese to share our love of Jesus and our Catholic values with all people.
Outcome 1. Each parish will create an ongoing program for inviting non-Catholics and inactive Catholics to Mass and other events, to be initiated within one year.
Outcome 2. The Diocese will develop a plan to assist the diocese and parishes to utilize all media, including social media, to highlight parish life and share the message of Christ’s love.
DIRECTION III: Create a sense of loving community, working together with the mission of developing a closer relationship with Jesus.
Outcome 1. Each parish will host at least two events annually that promote solidarity within the whole community.
Outcome 2 Each parish will develop a plan within one year to identify people in crisis and assist them or direct them to the appropriate resources.
Outcome 3. Each parish will create and support a variety of small faith-based groups within two years to serve and develop a closer relationship with Jesus.
