Continuing the vision of the 2nd Synod of the Diocese of Reno the Office of Marriage and Family Life supports parishes in  ministering  to families to promote the Sacrament of Matrimony, provide for stronger marriages and families,  and accompany those who are preparing for marriage.

The Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend is a positive and personal experience offering married couples an opportunity to learn a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. It is a chance to look deeply into their relationship with each other and with God. It is a time to share their feelings, hopes and dreams with each other. This is a time for you and your spouse to be alone together, to rediscover each other and together focus on your relationship for an entire weekend.

This is for Dads, Dads-to-Be and Granddads.  This program honestly addresses the pressure and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers.  The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive.
